The rider with the flag has their whip lit. Everyone else is dark. The dunes become a game arena — no communication needed.

Capture The Whip is designed to work with any standard LED whip that uses common wiring. The inline device splices into your existing whip wiring — no new whip purchase required. If your whip is already lit, you're good to go.

The proximity range is adjustable based on the game mode and terrain — and safety is built into how we've designed it. The transfer happens well before riders need to make contact, so there's no reason to bump, cut off dangerously, or put anyone at risk. Skill and strategy win the flag, not reckless riding. We're dialing in the exact distances during development and founding members will help us vote on the final settings.

Absolutely. Capture The Whip works anywhere UTVs ride — dunes, trails, desert, private land. If there's enough space for riders to move and hunt, the game works. That's also why we're building game modes specifically designed for tighter terrain like trails — King of the Hill, Last Rider, and more. Whether you're in the dunes or deep in the trees, there's a game for you.

We're designing Capture The Whip to support as many riders as possible — the more the better. Exact player limits per game mode will be confirmed closer to launch. Founding members will be the first to know and will have a say in how it all gets structured.
